I have seen multiple threads in regards to this that seem to have different answers so figured I would post what I am seeing in case others have a similar problem. Started getting some vibrations about a month ago. Jeep (06 TJ Rubicon, 33" tires, 4.5" suspension lift, 1.25" body lift) ran perfectly fine under 35 MPH. Once I got to 35 MPH, I would get significant vibrations in the steering wheel to the point that the whole steering wheel was shaking. This would occur up to 45 MPH. Above 45, there would be no more vibration in steering wheel, but I could feel vibration in my seat instead. Got the tires rotated/rebalanced and the steering wheel no longer shakes, although I can still feel vibrations in steering wheel betweeen 35-45. The vibration in seat above 45 is still present. I know my tires are cupping a little bit as I went a little bit too long without rotating. Any thoughts? Just trying to avoid going out and buying a part then figuring out that it wasn't the problem.
Additional info I forgot to originally include: between 35-45 the vibration only occurs when accelerating. Shifting into 4WD Hi seems to eliminate vibrations. Also, my Jeep has a manual transmission in case that adds any context as to what problem may be.
