Where do you mount your communications radios?

It bolts through the front of the rollbars above the windows. There is an existing vertical bolt hole at the forward end of the rollbar so the bolt (1 per side) drops down through the mount and rollbar with the nut underneath.

Here's a little wider angle look at it.

Hey there. So apparently their website or company is no more. Or at least I’m not getting anywhere. Would you happen to know the measurement from the windshield frame to the back of the crossbar. I think next time I take my hard top off I’m just going to make my own.

Roughly 4.5" between it and the soft top's header when clamped to the windshield frame.

Are y'all "sad hams" as "some people" may say?

I also have the cobra 75 (for now) and plan on adding mxt275 plus a handheld gmrs, prob wouxun, for ease of comms with my wife while I'm spotting or scouting trails.

Ok, I'm off to the antenna thread now!

I mounted a Midland MXT275 on the driver side footwell, and ran a mic outlet plug in place of the cig. lighter. Seams to work well for me and it's out of the way
