Does anyone have pictures of your 03/04/05 TJ when it was brand new and just rolled off the lot?

Looking to compare sheen on the black exterior parts, specifically fenders. I know Landau Black is suggested with the SEM low luster varnish but I don’t recall there being that glossy of a look. Thanks!

I'd have to look when home, but is doubtful. Mine were/are grey... but the sheen on them was very much similar to what the current jeeps have on their plastics.

Have you tried treating the plastics before you go to the extreme step of repainting? Try some 303 protectant. IMO, it does a good job of bringing the color back without repainting. No, it doesn’t last forever, but it’s part of a regular wash cycle. To me, it looks much more natural that anything paint can do. I’ve repainted fenders before and it was my experience that it doesn’t last and will need to be redone in time. A quick wipe with a restoring liquid is much simpler than a removal and respray.

Yes, I’ve done the 303 but these babies are very sun faded. They’re already removed :)

This stuff worked great on a pair of faded black mirror I picked up fo half doors. It doesn't leave any greasy or slippery film on the plastic either.
