The Brute kit cuts the body tub and creates a standard cab, Cuts and extends the frame between the axles, and adds a truck bed.
This pic shows where they cut the cab. (also shown is the Highline kit, not necessarily part of a Brute kit though)

That's also not a Brute. That's another half cab.
AEV will do just about any kind of "Customization" you want on a TJ, LJ, JK, etc., etc., etc....
Slapping a half cab on a TJ or LJ does not make it a Brute... It's just a TJ or LJ with a half cab.

In that case; I like the Liberty way more than a half cab LJ.
On that subjet, AEV does not make the Brute kits for any of the Wrangler lineup any more since Jeep started production of the Gladiators but they still do major modifications...
(IIRC the place that makes the half cabs only does so in batch orders (if at all) after AEV quit selling the TJ/LJ Brute kit)

I bought my wife an 04' WJ for her last birthday. I had a 00' V8 Quadra-drive that was great in snow.
For $2800 you can own that gem. Spare tire included.

Reminds me of the Ford Maverick or that POS electric truck that Nissan released.
The Nissan has a weird light bar looking thing on the rear. I thought it was a brake light. Nope! Just an annoying red light bar. I don't want to know how much it would cost to rear end one of those.

"drive like it is" — So... it gives up halfway through when driven? Since that's what the owner did on this 'mod job'.
A group of guys are drinking and one looks at a Liberty and says 'What do you think it would look like if they made THAT into a pickup.' One guys grabs a piece of paper and starts drawing. The next guy says 'hold my beer' and gets to this point and turns to the group 'it would look KINDA like this..."
