There is a Jeep salvage guy in Rosamond that advertises on Facebook . He would probably have one. There is also a guy in Bellflower that sell a lot of Jeep stuff. It’s on a Jeep parts group

Happened to my 98. Left side broke when big rig passed the other direction on a 2 lane 70 mph road. Bent one side up like it had a hinge in the middle. Id say shit can the junk rubber latches after you find a new hood.
My rubber hood latches were getting weak when one suddenly snapped on my trip up to the Rubicon a couple years ago, that hood was really bouncing bad. I pulled over immediately and secured it down with a couple big long heavy-duty bungee cords I happened to have with me. I ended up replacing both of them with the Daystar hood latch kit which works really well. I'm not normally a Daystar fan but their hood latch kit is really good.

The elastic part is stiffer than the OE so the hood doesn't shake as much at highway speeds. I really like it.
