I looked at a 2006 LJ auto today and it had the oil pressure drop when I stopped at red lights and the red warning check gauges (CEL too) light come on when I started to make a left turn after stopping. I left without any codes and came back with P0016and P0344 Crankshaft position sensor codes. It has a recent wranglerfix, oil pump and sensor. It supposedly started after an oil change. I saw some others having a similar problem and some suggestions but none with these codes. I didn’t know whether it would make a difference to the analysis or suggestions to try a manual gauge and replace the sensor with an old one.

It had no codes when you started the test drive? Tells me the owner is trying to hide some issues. I would run from that deal.
Yeah what's the mileage and if it's a clean chassis and you don't mind doing the work and waiting a couple months for a reman engine...or build your own stroker...sounds like a fun project as long as the price reflects the no engine oil pressure situation.

I scoped the frame and there was a little surface rust inside in some places that I would call foxing. It needs a transfer case seal (excuse for sye) and a rear diff pinion seal (regearing anyway).
