What did you do to your TJ today?

Precision Auto Injectors arrived. Prompt shipment. Arrived from Florida to Oregon USPS in 5 days. Sticker and personalized thank you note. Will finish up installing them tonight.

I actually disconnected all my injectors without breaking a single connector. And I love TJs and 4.0s...dont have to take the entire intake off...or pull the engine or spend three hours disconnecting sh!t.

Speedo has been spiking. This is pretty tame...had it roll past 120 a couple of times. Blew out the connector with air and put a dab of diaelectrical grease in and it seems to have fixed the issue. Too much snow wheeling and turtling the Jeep. My skid pan looked like a melting glacier the other day.

In other news the fuel pump isn't getting past 35 and the check valve isn't doing squat... immediately drops to 30 and was less than 20 five minutes later. I have a pump...Bosch...but it didn't come with plastic spacers...so I need to locate or print some...or lathe them out of UMHW. That and if I drop the tank the giant rust hole means I need a Saavy aluminum replacement. Limping along hoping I can order one.

Are you anticipating improved fuel economy with the new injectors?

Nope it's a 4.0. I'm hoping for something that doesn't look like it's about to be a trail nightmare with a known pedigree.

O-rings were solid. Took a lot of force to get the rail out. Lots of gunk in the injector ports. Lots of corrosion on the rail...cleaned it up and painted the rail with black high heat engine paint.

Oil change at 86,000

Had to order the oil and filter off Amazon. Nobody wants to carry conventional oil anymore. It's all full synthetic or synthetic blend. And nobody around here has the Wix filter in stock either.
