Will factory length shocks on a 4 inch lift cause a bad ride?

People should buy products from companies that support or sport and Rancho and BMB did that and good for them.
I supported the effort due to friends at the time being involved and trying to help them learn more better what stewardship is about and why it is so very important. Were it not for the good folks involved, I would offer as much support to FOC as I do now which is none.
Lastly I don't think I've every read a post where BMB promted his business other than answering questions and giving guidance.
Intentionally. I figure if folks want to know what I do, they can figure it out on their own.

I updated shocks to ones with 3-4 inch lift . It helped a lot. Now I get a bounce when going down road . Is this normal? This is the only Jeep I have rode in so have no idea what to expect. Thanks for the answers.

What shocks did you get?

Rubicon dual tube . They are gas shocks and were really hard yo depress for installation. It seems to settle down a bit after driving a few miles. Probably normal for sush a lite car with a 4 inch lift. Just no experience.

Thanks for all the replies. Being new to Jeeps I have a lot to learn.
After replacing the shocks I ask about the bounce. It bounced like a rubber ball. I guess the shocks had to level out or adjust . At any rate the bounce is gone and it drives great.
Again Thanks for the help. The Jeep is a world apart from my Corvette. But I like it.
