2003 Jeep TJ 4.0 will not turn over

Hate to cause any more noise on this post, but if you're still watching it, what are some of the bigger problems the switch melting caused? I've got a new kit for one and am going to install it soon.

In my case the melted switch caused issues with the headlights.
I’d put on the high beams but they wouldn’t change. One of my headlights was really dim all the time. I also noticed that the fog lights wouldn’t turn off when the high beams were turned on……stuff like that.
When I replaced the melted plug I took the opportunity to freshen up the contacts inside the multi function switch as well.
