I bought a Gator FX Tonneau Cover from Tonneau Covers World (Real Truck or one of their many other names). I can't see a lick of difference between it and the Bak-flip I bought for a Silverado I owned a few years back, except for a pretty hefty difference in price. I called and got a very good discount off the listed price. I understand that the FX is also made by Bak industries.

My Frontier is a 2019 Crew Cab SV (short bed) with the utili-trac system. The cover attaches with c-clamps affixed to the bed rail. The clamps sit just above the track system. The middle clamp interferes with the movement of the bed extender star knob, but with just a little effort it can be forced past it. The installation took maybe 30 minutes, no drilling, no fuss, no bother.

It's not water tight, but with all the daylight I can see in the Frontier bed and tailgate, I don't think that's a reasonable expectation on these trucks. I took the truck through an automated car wash yesterday with pretty good results. There was a little water in the corners - just enough to see that it was wet - but nothing I could see in the bed. If I had gear stored away from the sides, it would have been dry.

I also bought a Traffic Master recycled rubber mat (48 X 72) from Home Depot ($32). Flip it to the smooth side, cut off about a foot, and it gives a nice thick cushion on the bed. I left the width at 4 feet and just curled it to conform to the wheel wells. Not perfect but worked pretty well. If I do get much water it will flow under the mat.

It's only been a few days, but so far I'm pretty happy with the fit, finish, and functionality of the cover. The hinges on my Silverado Bak-flip started rusting after one season. It wasn't terrible and didn't interfere with flipping the sections, but annoyed me considering the price of one of those covers. Anyway, I'll keep an eye on that with this one.
