2004 TJ OE fog light question

I broke my right side fog light and was hoping to replace it with a Mopar one. I see the big companies list '05-'06 ones, but I can't seem to find the correct '04 fog light. The light itself is okay, just the housing broke. Just looking for advice. I could go aftermarket, but I prefer not to rewire and I am happy enough with stock. I rarely use them, but have and they are nice since they shine low and out in a bad rainstorm.

Anyone have any advice. I looked on Craigslist and came up empty. Haven't tried eBay yet. I missed out on someone on here selling a pair for $20. That would have been great, but they are gone of course.

Thanks for any ideas. Maybe that guy in Ohio? Been out of the loop for a while.

They pop up all the time on FB marketplace. Especially if you don't mind one with a broken lens and can swap the parts. Are they able to be swapped? Sometimes people sell stock bumpers with the fog lights still attached but you have to be careful because they can be very difficult to remove in rust prone areas.

I threw mine in the trash not long ago because nobody wanted them (perfect condition). The same will happen to my newer, scratch free Bestop tinted windows soon. TJs are rare where I live.

Slightly north of you, they’re everywhere but they’re the new YJ. People’s children have destroyed them as their first vehicle/winter beater. I offered my old Rampage soft top to a younger guy the other day since his was literally falling apart. I think he liked the torn up look better because he had zero interest lol

Very sorry for the delay. What year is your TJ? Seems there are differences. I think '03-'04 are the same and then it changes. Thanks for the reply.

They came off of a 2000. They were the same type 97-04 IIRC.

Upgrade both to the kc apollos. I just did it and I love the look! Plug and play so install was super easy. Only thing you need is a step bit to drill a slightly bigger hole for the new bolt.

Edit: mine is an 04

Dam, I've been looking for a set. Seen single ones on ebay for stupid money. I'd have the oem lights over aftermarket.

I guess I should have read your post first, didn’t see you prefer oem. These 2 are going in the trash very soon, located in eastern mass. Mounts are rusty but lens/housing in decent shape for being almost 20 years old. Lights work with original plug. PM if interested

Jamison C, I wanted to thank you very much for giving me your fog lights to replace my broken one. You are very kind and I wanted to just thank you on here. I have it installed and they are great and I am back to having a stock front. The light cases are like new.

Hope I can return the favor on a part someday, but you being in AZ and me being in Pittsburgh.....well you probably are going to have better parts.

Enjoy you day my friend. You helped me out a lot.

Hey I’m happy to help! They’ve been sitting in the “these might come in handy drawer” for two years and it’s great that they finally did. This forum is always so great at passing parts around to help each other out.

Now if anyone has a base for the 05-06 stock Hella fogs I could really use one as one of them snapped off in the car wash the other day 😭😭😭
