Sound is coming from the steering column or very close to that area. Only when the jeep is running or the accessory setting with the keys. It’s a “click…clickclick”. Imagine like the turn signal but with an extra click. Weird part: when I slightly depress the brake pedal, it stops. Release the brake pedal, it starts back. Any ideas?

The turn signal flasher is there on the top of the column. It also operates the hazard lights. The hazard switch might be corroded or a loose ground somewhere? Might pull the column covers and re-seat all the connectors. Also just turn the hazard lights off and on a few times.

That is weird , keep us posted. When you learn and post, we learn. .....Then criticize and argue and act like we already knew the answer.

Did you find the problem?

I have this same exact problem. When I turn on either blinker, hazard lights, or depress the brake pedal, the odd clicking stops. As soon as there are no brakes, blinkers, or hazard lights, the clicking starts back. If I fiddle with the hazard button, it sometimes stops. So, I will try the recommendation from @pagrey and report back. Thanks!
