What band never fails to make you listen?

It's really, really difficult to pick just one (as evidenced by most of these responses). I guess if I could only pick one, it would be the Beatles...I think...maybe.

Pink Floyd, Bob Seger, Phil Collins, Billy Joel

I’m a big fan of all those guys and I really enjoy interviews with Billy Joel and he is just amazing at re-creating the styles of other artist- If you look at his body of work he’s done that a lot and he did it tastefully.

Bob Seger is one of the best male voices of the last 50 years.

Speaking of music look what I found in dad’s house last night-

Live, on vinyl.

Go to Billy Joel every time he plays Fenway Park. Always amazing.
@AndyG I got that Springsteen box set when it came out. Haven't seen it in a long while

I always enjoyed his stuff when it played on the radio, but never went out of my way to acquire an album. A few years ago, I picked up a "Greatest Hits" cd of his music, and I'm concerned now that I'll somehow wear it out. His lyrical content is fantastic. Wish I had paid more attention to his music in my youth.
