Best aftermarket radiator now that OEM are all gone (2004 4.0)

I'd also be curious about when it makes sense to just refurbish your existing but failed radiator? I'm sure it depends on the nature of the failure, but if you have a Mopar radiator that fails, are there situations where getting it refurbished would be better than the aftermarket stuff that's out there?

Rock Auto
1994 Jeep 4.0 radiator (copper/brass construction)
CSF 2576 2 Row - Going for $270 at the moment
Do not waste your money on the 3 row. No added advantage, Wranglers actually seem to run better with the 2 row
Will fit all Jeep Wranglers from 1987 to 2006
Avoids the cheap Chinese aluminum knock off problems

I hear Motobilt is making a combo radiator and intercooler. Ian from Big Tire Garage mentioned it on his channel. Not on their website yet.

Boooooost...

You should try one out for the rest of us...

Good luck on the radiator lottery!

I doubt that's a viable option. It might be in the days of copper but in the days of aluminum tubes and plastic tanks, it's unlikely to be able to be repaired.

That's an interesting idea.

Last time I was at a radiator shop the owner said the replacement radiators are so inexpensive there isn’t a market to justify the costs for repairing one.

The plastic end tanks are held onto the aluminum core with a crimped clamp with a rubber gasket between the core and tanks. Labor, parts, and equipment to replace the plastic end tanks would cost way more than a new radiator.

With $100 shipping…

Yes but they are available.
oem radiator ordered. now no more jeep till my credit card recovers from all the stuff i had to get for it over the past month. its getting parked becasue every time i drive it i end up replacing something lol.

Good move buying OEM. One less thing to deal with long term
