what brand of sliders/steps are those?

I'm not sure, they were on the Jeep when I got it. That said, they're mounted via the body mounts and not something you'd want. I do have Savvy sliders, but installation of those is on hold.

Thanks, really my TJ is a pavement queen and the wife really wants a step. The LJ is for the trails.

That's exactly the reason why I've left them on there. My wife uses them whenever she gets in-and-out of the Jeep. Very handy for that!

Just read through your build thread. I bookmarked more things on your 40 page thread than I have on any other yet. I'm looking forward to continuing to follow along on your work. I haven't looked at your TJ thread, but I'm guessing its one of those that is too daunting in length for me to tackle.

Just read the posts by @Irun and skip the rest. Well woryh the investment in time!

I've done a baseline mechanical assessment during the last couple evenings. Overall, at just a tad over 100,000 miles, the Jeep is in very good condition. However, after 17 years, the usual areas need attention. Starting a mechanical checklist, at a minimum, I'll begin with:

- Replacing all the fluids
- Replacing the valve cover gasket, grommets, and PCV elbows
- Replacing the oil pan gasket and rear main seal
- Inspecting and replacing brake components and hoses (as needed)
- Replacing the entire cooling system

That said, I've ordered the first set of parts, to include:

CONTINENTAL62394Radiator Hose
CONTINENTAL64418Heater Hose / Pipe

What I'm struggling with, a little, is the water pump. I've installed several Gates 42293 water pumps recently. The last two were made in USA and had metal impellers. The later isn't a deal breaker, if it is plastic, but I do like the Made in USA piece. However, I'm getting mixed information on the new pump. My plan is to just order it and, if needed, return it.

I am trying to purchase all of the parts to freshen up my entire cooling system, and after I got most of these things in the cart, I realized that these parts are for a automatic transmission. Will these parts also work with a standard transmission 2000 wrangler with the NV3550?
