What did you do to your TJ today?

Just gonna say 35deg at 69-65mph is dang cold!!!!!!

Drove BB to work this morning with the windows still out, remembered from my Katana riding days that a good leather jacket not only protects from road rash, but the cold also!!!

Going to do the same again in the morning too :ROFLMAO:

Hah! I would not ride my bike if the temp was 45° due the wind chill factor would make it at or below freezing. And that air finds ways to your skin...lol

I rode a Yamaha 250 dual sport back in the 70's when we lived in Indiana for 18 months, snowmobile suits are your friend!!! Rode my Katana in Florida year round with leather and did all right.

This morning my hands were the only parts that got really cold.

Such a sissy! Had to go fetch a quart of milk this morning, 35°, and my dog didn’t complain at all. I had the roll up windows up, heater on and I was fine. Had to go three miles to the store. Why are you whining so much? 🤣😩😢🤣

Disconnect shocks. Disconnect drag link. Disconnect track bar. Disconnect swaybar links. If you don't have extended brake lines remove calipers and hang out of the way. Place jackstands under frame. Let axle droop as far as lower ca's allow. You should be able to remove old springs. Use spring compressors to collapse springs. Install springs. Lift axle and reinstall everything. If you don't have spring compressors you can borrow mine. Your not that far away.

That would be awesome, thank you. Nice brief write up for getting them in and out. Somewhere between once they are out and putting the new ones in there is "suspension cycling" which as I understand it is shocks and tires but no springs, each side lifted to see how much more bump stop I need to add so I don't blow out the shocks? Then all back together but the track bar and follow the write up to center the axle and set the control arms to proper adjustment considering caster and pinion angle? If anyone has a handy link to those definitive write ups, they would be much appreciated.

Just let me know when you need the spring compressors.
