Alignment question

So I took my TJ to get my new wheels balanced and to get an alignment at Ultimate Offroad in Yuma. Before I got the alignment my Jeep never pulled either way, but steering wheel was off to the left a bit.
After the alignment my steering wheel is in the same position so they obviously didnt bother centering and locking the steering wheel down and now it pulls to the right.
Finally got ahold of the owner and he said he would take a look at it but that the pull on a TJ isn’t adjustable. REALLY?

Is it constantly pulling to the right or is the steering wheel just set left of center? Does it change depending on how much road crown there is?

He may be referring to how the caster is not adjustable since it is set by the inner C's welded to your axle. I know one side is a fraction of a degree more than the other side to account for road crown. This may not even be your issue though, just throwing it out there.

Did they give you any before and after numbers for your toe?

If I’m on an even flat road and let go of the wheel it slowly pulls right.
No printout was given to me showing before and after adjustments. Honestly after waiting almost 4 hours I was just eager to get going.

Make them do it right since you already paid for it. I would never pay someone to do my alignment. DIY to make sure it's right.

I always dread having someone else work on my cars, but certain things Id rather pay for someone to do. I’ll have to read up on the how-to alignment thread. I used to align vehicles with a top end alignment rack, but that was over 20 years ago.

With a stock TJ only its toe-in can be adjusted which is EASY to do as you'll see in our alignment thread. And with a modicum of care and the ability to use a measuring tape your toe-in result will be every bit as accurate as a $25k alignment rack can produce. Really. Centering the steering wheel is a no-brainer too. https://wranglertjforum.com/threads/how-to-align-your-jeep-wrangler-tj.85/

I thought that caster/pinion angle was adjusted with lower control arm cam bolts on a stock tj axle

Got ya, so in the later TJ years the 30 still had the horse shoe?

I kept all the cam bolts and cleaned them with EvapoRust, not sure why I keep all that, but someone will need a set, ha.

Yes, later year Dana 30’s still have the horse shoe.
