One 97-02 Bosch fuel pump assembly left (update: probably not a Bosch)

Their Google reviews are even worse. A lot are complaints about fuel pumps. I find it suspicious that they have found 69 original Mopar fuel pumps since the ad was placed in January. They were down to 1 and then found 10 more and then an additional 8. I have a feeling each time they get low they fire up the printer and make some more Mopar labels.

If it turns out to be a fake ill just list it on here as the real thing

just ordered one and fingers crossed it will solve my problem - new fuel pump recently installed but suspect was a cheap on by a mechanic as whilst fuel pressure is good, the gauge was WAS accurate now reads 3/4 when the pump continues to click as full. From the warning light I can fill with 60 litres or 15.85 US gallons with I believe a 19 Gallon tank (as per Build sheet and general export specs for Dubai). Assume the problem is either:
  1. Fuel sender is telling the gauge correctly and the tank is not filling up due to other issue.
  2. Fuel sender arm bent or damaged and underreading with under reading on full
  3. Fuel gauge has coincidently stopped being accurate - looks good on the cluster test feature when you hold down the odometer button and turn on the key!
Would this problem occur with the 15 gallon fuel pump inserted in a 19 gallon tank?

Feedback welcome please!

Yup!

I'd advise anyone and everyone doing fuel pumps to keep every removed part...if your new assembly doesn't work you can always rebuild your original or at least reference it

I am pretty skeptical. Packaging seems like something not Mopar. No brand markings on the unit itself. Thoughts?

That sticker pictured above on the outside of the box is the only thing anywhere that has any kind of brand name at all.

Mine was just delivered and both the unit and packaging is exactly like the pics submitted by Skylines. I don’t see ANYTHING to indicate it’s a Bosch or MOPAR part.

I'm not home from work yet but will inspect later. I now have zero hope they are legit

I sent the seller a message for an explanation:

“I received the fuel pump in undamaged condition but the ad is for a “Mopar OEM” fuel pump assembly. What I received IS NOT AN OEM item! Nowhere on the item is any indication either Mopar or Bosch had anything to do with this pump. Not even a legitimate part number is with the pump. Only a box sticker.

Please explain why this is not as described in the posting.”

So here is mine..the pump itself looks the same as everyone else's. The only thing I see that would lead one to believe it's a orm part is the stickers which I think my wife could make on her cricut machine. I am going to return mine since I have little to no doubt this is an imposter
