Call this childish but my friends keep dogging on me when they see a new bronco saying how it’ll whoop me offroad and frankly I’m tired of it what would I have to do to my TJ to make it compete with the new top of the line Bronco and still be dailyable

If by offroad they mean dirt road, they're right. If by offroad they mean moderate or harder trail, just show them this pic:

Did your friends elaborate in what way the Bronco will whoop up on your TJ? Because the only real aspect would be in the go fast category as it has IFS.

This is actually really funny. I just watched the newest Matt's Offroad Recovery (a youtube channel) he posted today. They're in Moab, and had to park a new bronco that had a bunch of work done to it because it couldn't keep up with the XJs in the group.

Also, OP, your buddies are harassing you because they are getting a rise out of you. Laugh with them, admit that the new bronco is cool, or give them shit back. Otherwise they'll keep giving you hell. Razzing your buddies is how a lot of guys interact with each other. I call my friends names and give them hell about their vehicles in a way that would probably get me punched if I said it to a stranger. But they give me shit right back then we laugh at each other. It's all in fun.

In the event that any of this matters, more information and more criteria are needed. A few off us here have TJs that will almost certainly out wheel a new of the assembly line Bronco. But we are also a long ways away from comparing apples to each other.

I own Jeeps, my brother is a Bronco guy (older Full Size Broncos).

There were a bunch out, this TXBroncBuster guy does builds, and this white one did anything it saw. I was impressed, ha.

I will say, my TJ I’m not finished, but it kept up, I own 3 Jeeps, but I’m not sure the Broncos or crap.

I would just tell them a lifted Honda Ridgeline would do better than the Bronco. Has the same front end and steering and the Ridgeline is more practical because it can haul Futons and other house hold items for their wives. :D

Dirtlifestyle did a Tacoma IFS build and took it on Ultimate Adventure and right after that he put it up for sale. I saw he broke some CVs etc. Seen lots of steering component problems on the new Bronco from tire rods to the rack and pinion. Design by committee screwed the Bronco when they went with IFS IMO.

Just follow your friend around on trails all day, then admit to him that your Jeep is equal in all areas... with the exception on how quick the Bronco empties his pocket...
