What band never fails to make you listen?

For a number of years I'd run an average of 5 Marathons a year. One of the groups that helped me train was Collective Soul. The words and tempo just seemed to fit my pace and running style. To this day when I hear one of their songs, I can still feel the pavement rushing under my feet and the wind in my face!

100% one of the most underrated bands of all time, Ed Roland is a genius, & Run is one of the coolest tunes ever recorded; I was a runner back in my prime, those days are long gone due to chronic plantar issues. I was fortunate to see these guys at the old Electric Factory in Philly, this isn't my ticket, found it on the internet but this was the show:

I'll just leave these here

Back in the late 70's around age 13, a neighbor kid played Aerosmith "Rocks" album on his parents turntable. It was so loud, clear and new to me that I was hooked. The next day I found the Columbia House, "12 Albums for a Penny" deal in a magazine as was on my way. Can't remember all twelve of them but I do recall, Alice Cooper - Welcome to my Nightmare, Beatles - White Album & Abbey Road, Police - Outlandos d'Amour and Talking Heads.

Pretty hard to narrow it down to one or two but The Doors, Pink Floyd, Rush, Bob Seger, Zepplin get played a lot, when I'm in charge of the Bluetooth.

@Squatch - I see you mentioned Seattle radio. Were you a fan of Robin and Maynard back in the day? KISW, KXRX and KZOK. Good stuff!

Yup. I definitely remember listening to them! Man, I hardly ever listen to the radio, anymore. I tend to play a helluva lot of CDs, though. Closest thing I have to playing vinyl on an old turntable.
