I haven't been up there much since the fires. Not much to see anymore, but the trails might be clearer as a result of that.
None of the trails up there used to be difficult except little parts of the safety course. Who knows what erosion has done. That place will definitely give your paint a workout

Sounds like a good excuse to head up there and give a trail report. I'll work on that.
Lots of downed burnt pines last time i was up there. I'd bring a saw for sure
We need to get something on the books.... we need a rubi run again.
Was at Eagle Lake last weekend. Some pretty good Jeep trails up there.

I just wanna get out and wheel not by myself! All my friends either don't wheel anymore, sold their wheelers, or moved out of state
Been hitting all of my local trails since I moved here in 1998. Have run the Rubicon a bunch of times but not in the TJ yet. My last Rubicon trip was 2009

Hope to head your direction sometime and run Bald Mt. or maybe Dusy.
I would be down for both. Probably hit Moonlight Madness in July. We dont do the poker run, just park at Posi for the most part and watch people do dumb stuff
Was thinking of Swamp this summer. Maybe not all the way through though. In the bottom up to Swamp Lake and back out the same way.

Probably be September for me. Any good places to set up basecamp with a large RV? I'll be flat towing.

Brother towed in from AZ, we camped a night and they let him park the truck/trailer for the days we ran the Dusy.

Lots of spots on the road in through Tamarack snow park. I have friends with toy haulers and big RVs that camp there often.
