Nashville TJ's Build - Continued

And with the snubbers and hinge covers reinstalled, it's actually hard to see the creases. And no damage at all to the paint. No cracks or chips anywhere from the flop.

I'm calling this one a win.

I just hope the front end goes as well...

Sorry @NashvilleTJ it was right there for the picking.

Yup - we're too immature on this forum for the tools you're trying to give to us @Chris

Good luck with the tailgate. No surprise you're going the hard (and honorable) route trying to fix it vs just a FB/Craigslist pickup of a new one. Keep that OG VIN match. ;)

Before I get in trouble someone tell me what happens if I do a Chat GPT reply-

For instance if I hit that and say “John Cooper is a big ol fat pervert” what happens ?

And here it is. It's straight, and the top rail is once again dead on. There are a couple of creases where the snubbers were forced downward, but I can't get behind them because of the design of the tailgate. But considering I thought I was going to have to replace it, and paint it, I am pretty stoked.

And now the soft top will seal again...

Considering how bad it was, this looks great.

Man you are skilled. Nice work.

That’s not tears.

You know now that you mention it this is it as good a place as any-

So my jeep is making some kind of weird noise when I turn the wheel to the left and it’s got something to do with my Centramatics- So I crawl up under there and I am prying on the break flange thinking it’s rubbing something- And this yellow liquid starts running out and I’m like oh no I have damaged the wheel balancers-

So I rub it with my hand and smell it trying to see what it is-

My dogs on the other side of the wheel taking a big whiz ....🤣🤣🤣🤣

Good to hear no paint was damaged in the repair.

Nice Work! I'm impressed (or dissappointed?) that a C-Clamp on a wooden table was able to straighten that bend out.

I bounced off my spare a couple weeks ago and spared the tailgate, but bent the 1/4" plate that holds the wheel lugs.
