Hey guys, looking for a little help. I just replaced the heater core when I added an a/c system to my 1997 Tj 2.5l manual. I ordered the Gates 19004 for the heater to thermostat connection and the inner diameter is too small at about 5/8. The old hose is a Mopar 55037372 with almost 3/4 ID. I am having trouble sourcing this stupid hose. I searched the forums and couldn't find that answer as well. Your guidance is much appreciated.

Unfortunately, I was forced to cut the end at the heater core. It was basically bonded as it was the original.

How about putting a stepped connector in the hose? I've seen 5/8 to 3/4 adapters before. Its stupid you have to do this but unless things have changed the correct fitting hose doesn't exist

The only problem is that it's at both ends. I wondering also if the flow would be impeded in any way.

Also, the larger hose went from the top port on the heater to the thermostat. Is this how yours was setup? I am seeing posts that show otherwise. However, those diagrams show that setup on the 4.0 or it is routed through a manifold which mine does not have.
