Track bar hits gas tank

What rear TB do you have?

Do you not have some kind of angle bracket on there now with an SYE?

RC rear tb. No angled bracket. It looks like it need to be pushed forward so it doesn't rub the tank protector.

I guess I haven’t done it, I got the Currie Bracket with the Currie TB. How do you roll the axle forward and still connect the TB without one?

I would need to find the thread, but the reason I got the Currie was because others are known to hit. Not sure if a bracket will actually fix the issue with a RC, but it’s worth a try.

Up to match the ds.
Think the bracket will work it appears it just needs to move forward a little to not rub.

I would not use the JKS angled rear trackbar relocation bracket. It’s only a 9* angle. The Currie is 19.5*, pulling it farther away from the tank. The JKS wouldn’t clear. Had a really painful time trying to return it.

Thanks for the heads up👍

Not sure who edited that, but you must wheel a shit ton harder than I do if you consider that a possibility 😎

Why is no one offering solutions to this problem?

His throttle body to fuel tank interference issues or me not wheeling hard enough to have the same issue? Because of it's the latter, I'll be hammer down next time. Full send 😎🍻

We're committed to it now!
I think the optimal solution would be either to remove the gas tank from the engine bay or, and I know I'm getting crazy here, do a rear engine to front engine conversion for his TJ. Anybody else with any other ideas?

Would the TJ dimensions suit doing a mid-engine conversion?

Combo mid-engine conversion/seat swap/seat heater mod. I like it. Might only work for a stock motor though. LS/Magnum/stroker might still have the beans to get that throttle body into the gas tank on launch. Actually, now that I think about it, isn't the TB on the LS up front? Might have a winnar!!
