Legendary Performance Designs - Slim Rear Bumper & Spare Tire Delete

I’m all for the frame lift mod, but it’s out of mine and most folks skill set.

I’m also all for a new small business creating TJ products. I like it

Yep. Why even drive a Jeep if you aren't gonna chop the back of the frame off and weld it back on an inch higher?

I modified a high clearance bumper to make it into what I wanted it to be by adding a lower lip to wrap the cross member and adding width to protect the tub corners. I might have the skill set for a frame raise, but I haven't had a garage setup with enough space to do that and honestly I'm not even sure I'm mentally prepared to do it.

If this bumper had existed (or if it did, and I had known about it) in March of 2022 I'd probably have bought this one and never though about it again. Instead I have the body lift butt crack reminding me on the daily that I haven't done a frame raise.

Let’s do the frame tuck together. I’m planning mine at the end of June. I’m ready mentally (know what I have to do), just waiting on a part for another project I’m doing at the same time.

  1. Upper perch relocation
  2. Gas tank cut off correction
  3. Rear frame tuck
  4. 10mm spacer for passenger side to level the rig.

Can I join your frame tuck party 🥺🥺

Haha. That would be great, I'm a quality welder short of making it happen though. I'm still working with a 120V harbor freight flux core and I'd really like to have a decent MIG before I start doing welds that need to be really structurally sound.

I've got the Olympic rear bumper that I picked since it had a tow hitch. But drag it does.
Plan is to do the rear tuck and switch out the bumper. This bumper is a good looking alternative with adequate corner protection.
I might ask them if they would make a similar one that accommodates the tuck.

Great looking bumper! The departure angle on your TJ is incredible and this bumper compliments it perfectly. This is a good option for those not wanting to go through the effort to "tuck" The rear crossmember
I have seen this bumper with a hitch receiver and more bolts too. They said it could be added if you contacted them.

I look forward to more product being released from this company!
