Rubicon Locker Lights Flashing When Lockers Are Engaged

Yes it’s both lights doing it. Any idea where I can find more information about the sensor pin?
What is odd is both lights doing it-

Has this TJ been regeared or did it just start-

Will explain when you respond

Got to go to church-

Both sensors going out at once is a long shot

@Jerry Bransford once posted the stock Rubicon locker wiring schematic, the @ symbol will notify him, he is great. It would be good to study where the wires go to the dash.

If regeared the pins are likely in wrong, not on the flange.

Dont unscrew the sensors - the carrier has to drop to get them to go back in.

You may have leaking air hoses- normally this is the little hoses in the diff, they get rock hard over time and are easy to access with the cover off - it is possible as the aged simultaneously.

You may be getting air bleed off at the pumps or anywhere in between. It could also be bad bladders.

Take it slow and you will solve it. The flashing lights are generally a sign the lockers aren’t staying engaged. You need to resolve it before you run them a lot if that is the case.

Did you find a fix? Our 2004 Rubicon is doing this. Took it rock crawling and the lockers were engaged, but the lights never stopped blinking. Even after turning, climbing, and moving around.

Were their air compressors cycling off and on? Did you have your axles regeared or were the carriers removed for any reason before the problem started?

Even though I know it's locked and holding air, my rear indicator light intermittently flashes. Sometimes it flashes more than it stays solid.
I've ohmed out the sensor pin switch and it tests ok. Guessing the problem is farther up the wiring path.
Might be a good winter project.

Was your rear axle's carrier removed/replaced prior to getting the intermittent flashing locker light?

I am troubleshooting this locker issue. Here is my current status:

-Both rear and front lockers lock when I turn them on. (tested as per mrblaine instructs in previous post)
-Rear light flashes, front light solid.
-Front pump cycles on and off, rear does not cycle on and off.

So I think I have an electrical issue with the rear and maybe an air leak on the front.
I'm guessing it is not normal for the pump to cycle on and off when locked, correct?

Correct.

Im having a similar problem, rear locker light flashes sometimes. Weird thing to me is I have a Rock Jock 60 w/ an ARB, any advise on why this is flashing?

No.
I'm not too concerned at this point.
Wheeled it for week like that in Colorado, no locking issues except the light.
Pretty sure it's a wiring issue.
I'll post the solution for others when I find it.

No solution yet.
Recently tried to troubleshoot and the light worked normally and went solid when locked.
That was with the Jeep jacked up and tires off the ground.
On the trail, rear light still flashes more than it stays solid.
Recently regeared and I forgot to replace the sensor/switch. 😞
