Hey guys, I just installed a set of Oracles 7 inch Halo LED headlights on my TJ. I spliced the halo wires into the parking lights in the fender. All was well for 30 minutes and I ran down to Oriellys to grab 4 new parking bulbs.. after I installed the bulbs I went back and turned on the lights one last time to show my brother in law and they didn't come back on. The headlight portion works fine, but now the parking lights don't come on, but the same bulbs carry the juice from the blinkers and they work.. I did check the fuses, and none of them were popped. any help would be appreciated. There is a possibility my splices touched each other before I got electrical tape on them. that's why I checked the fuses. I suck at electrics, im a great car painter though. :ROFLMAO:

Are the bulbs you bought for the parking lights LED or incandescent? That circuit does some funny stuff to make the side markers and front facing parking lights flash alternately for the turn signal, and LEDs break it. If they're LED you might try removing your new parking light bulbs and reinstalling in the opposite orientation and see if it changes anything. Ultimately though, they need to be incandescent bulbs unless you want to do some wiring work to restore OE function.

you know its funny, when I put on the blinkers, they work like I said, but now they blink like you said... not in unison with each other.... I put incandescent bulbs in, just regular ass bulbs, and I found out after I posted this message that the back tail lights aren't coming on either, just blinkers when activated. and one more thing, when I pull the light switch out verrrrry slowly, the parking lights all come on in one little spot, but if you move the nog at all, they go out again... its like pulling one eighth inch it works, but after that first eight they go out again.....
