Hello.
My wife’s 1995 4.0 YJ has a crack in the bracket that the power steering pulley/belt tensioner is attached to. I know this is the TJ forum and not the YJ forum, but I don’t have an account for the YJ forum and I figured you guys might now what to do. I can’t find a replacement part anywhere online and there are no pull-a-part yards near me. I’ve shoved some JB weld into it for now, but I’m really seeking advice here.
Do you know where I can find a replacement part for this? Do you know of a way to fix this? I’m worried that whenever we tighten her serpentine belt, the crack just gets bigger and the belt gets loose again.
Also, the belt squeaks real bad when we turn the AC on…. Would that be related to this and the belt being loose, or would the AC pulley be bad?
Thanks
