Is there a write up on how to fix the heat soak problem with spark plugs? 2006 4.0, auto, 126k. I'm getting a "want to stall symptom" when I stop at red lights when its hot outside and in stop and go traffic. Thanks

Heat Soak is an injector issue not a plug issue, bet here's the Service Bulletin that should help:

Does your Jeep have the insulator sleeve on the injector side ?

I did this to an 01 xj and it worked I heard something about an eco flash but could never find any details

Hello does this insulator sleeve also fit the 1999 TJ? I read that this sleeve is above 2002 TJs cause there was a recall. I have no error problems, but the harness and connectors for the injectors are smelt down! Never seen this before. Now I decided to change the worn harness and connectors. Insolate with silicone sleeve.
Also want the insulator sleeve between exhaust and manifold. Will it fit or there are differences between the years?
Help needed. Thanks

That looks like rub/abrasion damage- separate the wires see if there is any damage repair and then bundle back up.

Yes I‘ll do that. But is ist also good to install the insulation sleeve between Headers and manifold? I think so. But there all the same who fit between 1997 and 2006? I don‘t unterstand the recall only from 2002 till 2006. What is different?

Looking for this insulation. Will it fit 99 TJ too? When yes, I‘ll do that work too. Insulation of the Injectors and Rail is ready.

DEI sells a full insulation kit. It has the foil foam panel for the intake manifold and silver wraps for the injectors and fuel rail.
