Have been looking at Jeeps for a while now and finally found an 05 LJ in great shape. This particular one I bought from the original owner and has only 23,000 miles. Overall, the Jeep is in excellent condition as it has lived in a garage its whole life and never driven in bad weather. Looking forward to learning about the Jeep and figuring out what to change first!

This is how it was when I got it. I have since purchased a hardtop for it (at a pretty good deal I thought), and have replaced the original tires with BFG A/T KO2s:

Winner, winner, chicken dinner! Nice LJ, and a great find. 23k? Amazing...

I wonder what it is with LJs and the chrome grille...I've seen quite a few of those showing up in photos...was the chrome grille a usual feature of an LJ?

I know it showed up on the option list but don't know if it is a cover or not.
 
I’m seriously jealous. Down here in Florida an LJ with those kind of miles would probably fetch close to $25k.

They were the original tires, and although they still looked brand new and were not dried out, I decided to replace them instead of riding on tires made in 2004.
 
Looks like a very nice LJ! A little lift and that thing would look even better!
 
Hello from a fellow LJ owner! Welcome to the forum and Jeep life. Very clean Jeep you have there. How do you like those KO2s? Buddy has them and they ride and wear great.
