Picked up this super cool hardtop for $260, was $250, but I didn't have two tens. Anyway, it has some damage, easy fixes, and my plan was to fix the issues, sand, then bed liner the exterior black.
My problemo is...I kind of like the white.
So, what say the all mighty Jeepers.
Paint it black?
Keep it white and name the Jeep: Jeeper Cottontail?
Or.... other.

Keep it for awhile and see if it grows on you. You might find some ways to complement it well and have a unique in a good way TJ.

That’s a crazy good deal on a hardtop

I'm not a fan of it in white, I'd like it much better black. However, it's your Jeep, so the important thing is that you do what makes YOU happy.

I like the white. Looks classy in a way a tuxedo does. Not sure if you understand what I'm saying lol.

Are those vents in the back? Who made this hardtop?

The white will definitely keep the interior of the TJ cooler in the summer, if you plan to run it then. Gray would also stay cooler than black. In the end, it's your choice. Some photos of black TJ with a Khaki top, though not grey, close (one is a soft top):

Khaki looks real good, too.

My 2005 hardtop doesntd have those vents. Was it only on the 97-03 models? I like the look. Are theyt there for providing towards closing the doors easier?
Not sure if the vents are there solely therefor that purpose, but yes, they do make closing the doors with the windows up that much easier.

The vents on 97-02 models let air out. 03-06 have the vents behind the spare in the tailgate. Thus, you can run a 97-02 hardtop on any year TJ, but you can only run an 03-06 on those year models (unless you change the tailgate)

Reminds me of the CJ days. They often had a white top with the white rims. My wife’s first vehicle, a ‘78 CJ7, was powder blue with the white top and wheels. Looked great. I’ve been meaning to dig up a picture to post.

Rock that white top. Not only does it look good, it looks unique.

In a world full of angry eyes, square led's and poor color choices, you will stand out.
Agreed. They are so rare, you can barely find any photos of them searching. I say run with it...
