'04 Jeep Rubicon build thread going closer to stock with 2" lift

So I put together a stereo system. My Jeep came with a Pioneer system which is actually a pretty good unit, but it wasn't hooked up since the prior owner took out all the amps and sub. I had a sub laying around and purchased a very small clarion marine grade amp to install in my new Tuffy console. I am very happy with the results and the amp doesn't take up much room. Here are a couple of pictures to see the setup. The speakers were already installed and are also Pioneer that fit into the stock sound bar and front speaker spots.

Okay so I feel that my exterior is done to what I am looking for at this point. It was WAY more expensive than I ever could have dreamt and I will at some point itemize the general costs. All new upper and lower control arms (USA made), OME lift, 33 BFG's that really are great all around for me. New Kentrol hinges on my half doors AND full doors. Ugh! Never thought I would get 1/2 doors, but I really like them so far. New twill top that fits great. All new Rubicon flares (Mopar/Summit). New fenders USA made and insurance approved from Keystone. New front bumper, sway bar, sway bar cover and so-on from Mopar. Much better than that horrible anti-rock thing that made the Jeep ride like crap. Put the tow hooks on the front from Ebay and they are Mopar (6,000lbs rated). Don't think I will try the 6000lbs though. lol Placed the Rubicon stickers on there, which is a pretty fun and easy job with the correct tools. I Fluid Filmed everything including inside of 1/2 doors and will do it two more times before winter just to make sure there isn't anything missed at all, inside all the frame and such.

I really enjoy this Jeep and my Audi S5 is sitting. I am thinking of selling it to be honest, but will think about it.

Here are some pictures. Thanks @Chris for posting pictures of your black Rubi. It was what I was going for as far as lift/wheels/tires go.

Oh and clear front corners since I think they look good on silver. That I had to get from Crown, but I can live with that. lol

I posted that last picture showing the 33's and the Rubi wheels because I feel it just sits right on the edge of the flares. Perfectly as I was hoping. I noticed that from Chris's pictures of his black Rubi. Makes life easier if you have pictures of someone else's work that you feel is really what you want.

I purchased a Mopar 1/2 upper door holder that also holds the sides and rear. I think it is great and all in one case. I hope to relocate the subwoofer to under the rear seat maybe to get that spot behind the rear seat back for this to go into. Little things here and there to do. Maybe have the 1/2 door uppers redone with twill from a local shop. Will price it anyway.

Looks awesome! In my opinion, you can never go wrong with the factory Moab wheels. I personally think they look awesome.

They are clean and I prefer factory wheels as they seem to be tougher. Had a lot of aftermarket wheels and never had a very good experience.

No argument there. Most aftermarket wheels are cheap and made in China. The factory wheels are much more durable I would imagine. Not sure where they are made, but it’s not China.

31" X 9.5" tires? What brand are they, I'm curious to know. I ask, because I think the norm around here (this forum) is 31" X 10.50"...
Squatch, I gotta tell ya when these rolled off the UPS truck I just about started to fill my panties they looked sooo skinny, But after getting them mounted & on the TJ they're just what I was hoping for. Not what most people would want, but that's o.k. I do thing's different! Ha Ha

I like it. Kind of an old military look. Besides, if you don't like it those Swampers will wear down so fast you'll be in the market for new tires in a year or so anyway :D
Kinda what I was thinkin, and afraid of! BTW I got on the Interco web site and can't find that size tire anywhere! I measured them amd inflated they go 30 7/8" tall, but the web site only lists a 9.5 x 29" tire so I'm not sure what that's all about!

I haven't run them in years but the bias ply Swampers ran big, in contrast to what most tire makers produce. Their 33 was about 34 in reality. Those things were awesome everywhere but the hwy.

There Interco super Swamper TSL Radials.
Love the artillery wheels! I seriously considered them, but they were substantially more than the smoothies I ended up getting. Gonna get center caps? Damn, I love that look! I can see that I would've been quite happy with those. And as far as your tire size, I think it works, As @Rob5589 said, it gives it kind of an old military look, which I think works just fine. Love the look, Chief.

I'm glad you recognize the wheels! Not too many people do
