Thats my exact same set up. You need a 43 tooth gear. Mine reads maybe 2 mph (3.22 kmh) over gps speed. Heres the link to the one I bought but any should work.

I'm just going to throw this out there. Where you need to be reading your speedometer you have your phone and it has service....why just not use a speedo app? Just sayin.
Because it's not a hard job to do this the correct way. Would you rather do a 10 min job now and never think about it again, or add extra steps every single time you turn the key?
Sorta, but the gear drives an electronic sender that generates the same pulse count signal that the tone ring and sensor do in the 241. The neat thing about that small distinction is it allows us to correct the 231 signal with the exact same digital correction device we use on the 241. In fact, I prefer that method over a gear change which I do realize won't be a popular method for others.
Because some of us aren't lazy and don't depend on a phone for anything but making calls. Not to mention, there are a lot of no touch laws in a lot of States that will give you a nasty ticket for such silliness.
And another reason (for me) is having the odometer read accurate mileage.
I use my phone for music...so not an extra step for me.....but to each their own.

My chart I created (based on factory speed reading data & actual tire sizes) says that 5.13 and 33's would be best matched to factory settings with a 43 tooth. The factory does read about 4-5% fast on the speed side, so you might want a 41-42 instead if you prioritize speed accuracy. The factory ships a bunch of them with fast speedos but accurate odometers.
So, you want me to believe that once you open the app, you never touch your phone from the time you leave until you arrive at your destination and park it?

So do I, but then I put it in the cupholder or phone mount and leave it as is for the most part. I hate having a phone in view of the windshield, so I put the mount on the passenger grab bar instead. The speedometer is just a quick glance down and I'm not forced to have something constantly in my view blocking a portion of the windshield. Plus, I like most others are already watching the gauges, so why leave one just not working?
