Can anyone recommend a good used Jeep parts source out west that will ship. I need a black tailgate for my 2005 TJ. There is nothing out here in the northeast that is worth buying. Thanks.

I try to stay away from aftermarket body panels. They just never seem to fit right. Thanks though.
AZ Cycle Parts On eBay. They’re on the west side of the Phoenix metro area, I bought all of my LJ parts from them (they’re 20 miles from me) and I have been very happy. They even have a black tailgate for sale now.
Thanks, but he is a little proud of his parts. $399.00 for a rusted tailgate plus $250.00 shipping is a little steep. At this point I may entertain a new tailgate and have it painted.
Be patient and you'll find one.

I'm patient. I've been looking for months. My tailgate isn't all that bad. The left lower is starting to rot out, not really visible unless you lift up the weatherstrip.
The next great adventure is going to be trying to find a rust free tub for my LJ. My Jeep has always been stored for the winter, except the last two, now both the rocker panels are rotting out. Thank god I have rocker armor hiding it.
I think have one. That part of the shop isn't visited often — too much stuff there saved because I might need it someday

will this work? and no, I don't have the key. BTW, it's danged heavy. You'd be better off coming to get it vs shipping.
