New paint

I'd posted a few pics of the painting process in the "What did you do to your Jeep today?" thread. Here it is done and reassembled. I'm a hack bodyworker and it's, at best, a 20' paint job, but at least it's one color now and doesn't have as many 'speed' holes.

In addition to patching the exterior rot, I also made the necessary repairs to the floors. Both footwells got patched. The sections of floor under the main roll bar feet were totally gone so they required sone creative repair. Also, the interior got sprayed with truck bed liner.

That's probably exactly the type of paint job you want for a TJ IMHO!

Eastwood Single Stage Acrylic Urethane. https://www.eastwood.com/eastwood-shaggin-green-metallic-intermix-paint-kit.html It's a 2 gallon kit you have to mix a bright green coarse metallic and a dark gray metallic.

My 1st TJ was another '97 and was Citron Pearl and I really liked that color. This offering from Eastwood is a close match. In hindsight, I should have held back one or two pints of the dark gray when mixing the paint to make it a bit lighter and more green.
