2005 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon — 38K Miles — 4.0L Automatic — $11,900

Located in Emmett, Idaho.

Selling my 2005 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon with approximately 38,000 actual miles. It has the legendary 4.0L inline-six, automatic transmission, factory Rubicon equipment, and both lockers and 4-low work as they should.

$11,900 OBO

This Jeep does have a reconstructed/branded title. I want that stated right up front. It was previously rolled onto the top, which damaged the body/top area. The hardtop was destroyed and has been replaced with a soft top. I have inspected the Jeep closely and have found no visible evidence of a bent or twisted frame. The frame is exceptionally solid for a TJ of this age.

The Jeep now has:

  • Approximately 38,000 miles
  • 4.0L inline-six
  • Automatic transmission
  • Factory Rubicon
  • Front and rear lockers
  • 4-low works properly
  • Very solid frame
  • Newer replacement fenders
  • New fender flares
  • Replacement windshield surround
  • New windshield
  • Soft top
  • Tasteful white/blue two-tone appearance
  • Good running and driving Jeep
I have worked on vehicles for many years and bought this Jeep knowing its history. I have no interest in hiding the reconstructed title or pretending it is something it isn't. What it is is a very low-mileage TJ Rubicon that runs well, has a solid frame, functioning Rubicon drivetrain equipment, and is ready to be used and enjoyed.

It isn't a freshly restored show Jeep, and that's part of what I like about it. You can actually take it down a trail, through the sagebrush, or use it as a Jeep without worrying about scratching a $20,000 paint job.

A comparable clean-title, low-mileage Rubicon would bring considerably more money. The reconstructed title is reflected in my asking price.

$11,900 OBO.

I'm willing to work with a serious buyer, but I'm not looking to give it away and I'm not interested in parting it out.

Serious inquiries only. If you're coming from Boise, Portland, Salt Lake, eastern Oregon, northern Idaho, Washington, or farther away, I'm happy to answer detailed questions before you make the trip.

More photos and specific information available for a serious buyer.
