It's not old tech. And before the new ones come out. Which might change the monthly cost too. The current tech will go on sale. So if you need another one.
And I'm with you. The speed of current units is fine with me. I don't need online gaming speeds.
I'm planning to move to Montana in the next year or two. Where Starlink will make an otherwise possibly lonely, for sure isolated existence, doable. Here in the Phillipines it's only a backup in case of an emergency.
We have whatever the normal starlink is on our house from last year, the higher speed one. It's worked great since we switched, we had verizon before that kept getting slower and slower as more people came online.
