Rocky Mountain Billy Goat Build

It's not old tech. And before the new ones come out. Which might change the monthly cost too. The current tech will go on sale. So if you need another one.

And I'm with you. The speed of current units is fine with me. I don't need online gaming speeds.

I'm planning to move to Montana in the next year or two. Where Starlink will make an otherwise possibly lonely, for sure isolated existence, doable. Here in the Phillipines it's only a backup in case of an emergency.

We have whatever the normal starlink is on our house from last year, the higher speed one. It's worked great since we switched, we had verizon before that kept getting slower and slower as more people came online.

I have to appreciate WranglerFix's attention to detail. I auto swapped a few years ago, but my VIN obviously still comes up as a manual. They called me to double check before sending it out that I actually wanted the auto PCM. I ordered last night and they are shipping it via 2 day air today, so pessimistically I should be good to go by sometime Thursday.

All that so it can sit in the garage the rest of the summer?

You need to find out a way to put lawn mower blades on that thing

Back in business. You'll notice the rub marks on those connectors from my battery. I don't have time today to rebuild my battery tray, but I had some 1/8" angle iron. I cut that to length and put it in the back of the tray to tilt the battery forward for now adding a decent gap there. I don't know if it contributed to the failure, but it needed to be corrected.

Now to get the emissions readiness monitors happy so I can get my registration updated.

I got another new radiator today, and sadly because I needed it fast it's a garbage one from car quest and runs 8-12° hotter. This is a nice side quest from swapping in another transmission cooler and shoving the condenser bolts into the radiator on accident.

I'll probably get another Denso for when I get the final grille layout back since it seemed to run fairly cool and is a Toyota OEM.

Well, that definitely shows your commitment to the science, Matt...
