Mildly Out of Hand 02 Sahara Build

Little rubicon trip photo dump. Didn't take much we were all just enjoying the trail. My fiance's 80 y/o grandpa and dad had a blast rock crawling.
Here's the Jeep at the start of the trip. The jeep was sagging more than normal in the back due to bringing much more camping stuff and food to keep the future in-laws comfy.

Helping a random guy out and testing my Karnage Welder. He had a pretty busted up rear yoke and was open diff with 33s at Buck Island. Thing worked awesome!
Also got my younger brother a bunch of seat time in the rig to inspire him to build his toyota.
I blew a bead on a rear tire and slightly bent my hydro assist ram shaft. Bead got reset and learned to tighten the pinch bolts on my JK synergy tie rod a lot more than recommended so that it doesn't roll on the threads of the ends after a big hit. Overall great trip and hardly any traffic on the trail for a holiday weekend. The front stretch, coilovers, and 37s seem to really compliment this rig. I'm very happy with how it performs.

Ended up pulling the trigger on some 17x8 steel Raceline Beadlocks and some Mickey Thompson MT's. They only weigh 2 lbs more per corner compared to a Raceline Monster or similar beadlock and I can live with that trade off for cost savings and the look. These also got me back to the iconic rustoleum almond paint job this Jeep was rocking since I was in high school.
I also ran the Dusy Ershim Trail for the first time with @D M and figured I'd throw some photos in here. All the Jeeps did great, only issue was our JKU buddy's ram assist partially ripping off his trackbar mount. A little flat bar and some weld got it even better than before. The new wheels and tires worked awesome too.
If anyone is in the market for a trail welder, the Karnage Welder is worth every penny
