Hello all,
I just our bought first jeep, a 2000 Sahara I6 4.0L automatic. It's on a slow boat across the Atlantic so haven't taken possession yet. Will be for my daughter to use at college but the more I read on this forum and others, I'm starting to think I want to keep it for myself. I've already started to think about mods I want to make. Anyway, I'm looking forward to learning more about it and having some fun with it.

Africa. My sister works for the State dept. and purchased it when she arrived in Nigeria from someone who was rotating out. The previous owner bought it in the States (used) and had it shipped over. I think the Jeep was there a total of 5 years. I'm hoping the time in Africa helped preserve the frame. Anyway, my sister couldn't take it to her next posting but the government provided shipping back to the States so she sold it to us.

Wow, I didn't even know they had TJs in Africa, that's awesome!

Did it cost an arm and a leg to have it shipped back to you in the States?
