Love what they have done with the rear seats and how the tailgate opens. I kind of like the looks as well. Interiors are no worse than JK/JLs. I give it a thumbs up!

It looks like a Nissan Cube on steroids... Not a fan of the look!
Ok...so this looks exactly like a renegade lol. Isn’t bad?? JK bashing day and night and this isn’t bad? Come on hahaha.I don't like any of those new Mini Coopers. The only ones I like are the old school ones!
This thing isn't bad, but unless I can take the top fully off and the doors... well you know!

I would buy one if I lived in Japan. Maybe it's not as fun as a Jeep, but I bet it's well made and super reliable.I kind of like it, the video was interesting, are they bringing it to the states? Curious how it’ll catch on.

Can't think of anything else. Even the Lada Niva has independent front suspension. The great thing about this Jimny is that it has live axles front and rear. Are there any other contemporary vehicles in this size and wheelbase with live axles other than the Jeep?
Sold all over the world, except in the U.S.A.
Regulations and copyright laws are why the wrangler has no real competition.

That's true. Hard to find solid axles these days front and rear... unless it's a full size truck.
And those trucks are so massive even for the people who do use them. The way things are going in the new Jeep world, I really wouldn't be surprised if FCA introduces a IFS Jeep in the next gen, touting comfort asa selling point. I'm still amazed they managed to sell 2WD JKs at all. They sold a decent bit as far as I know. In that sense, I'm all for vehicles like FJ70 and the Jimny being sold here and light a fire in FCA's you know what.
It sounds like a decent enough SUV, but I'm not a fan of it, personally. I think it looks too similar to a Scion xb and it doesn't even have a removable top.
