It was quite easy. Hardest part was removing the flares. Good prep work is vital....I think I'm going to do the hard top inside and out next....

I actually like this look a lot. I've been thinking of doing it to my fender flares for a while, only because I like the more "rugged" look it gives it. I'll be curious to see how it holds up!

My research indicates a favorable rating on the liner. UV is my main concern as I live in Arizona…. we will see......

The stock flares just start to look bad in shorter order anyways, regardless of U.V. rays or not, that's what I've found at least. The smooth surface on them just isn't indicative of an off-road vehicle IMHO.

I like this look a lot better. I'm curious how it performs with the U.V. rays as well. I used to live in Chandler, Arizona, so I know how that goes.

I'd like to know how it holds up when you spill gas on it during fuel ups, cause no matter how careful I am, I always manage to spill a drop or 3 on the rear flare.

It’s real bad with my GenRight stretch tank. Unless I stop it about two gallons short of full it burps out bad

What did you do for prep? Did you use their spray gun?
Prep was soapy hard scrub/wash, sand with 120, soapy wash, blow dry, acetone wash/wipe and spray with the included Schutz gun. I am doing the tub next with tintable liner in my Silver body cover. I thought about the tops exterior, but decided to paint it. I will use this on the hard tops white interior.

That must be what the P.O. put on my jeep.
I've had this jeep 4 months. Got it muddy wheeling so I took it to the car wash.
As I was rinsing the mud some of the raptor liner peeled off so I stopped using the wand on my fenders immediately.
Have no idea how long its been on the jeep.

Hard to say which liner it is. There are lots of liners in spray cans too...nothing will stick without the proper prep. The mechanical bonding of paint is all in the prep work. We don’t have as much control of the chemical bonding portion....
This p.o is a dealer so my money says he did the rattle can with little prep, imho. :-/

I really like the look of it. I think with the prep work you've done it has the best chance of staying on.

Nice light bar as well is it stock?

The light bar was installed by the PO. Its not stock that I am aware of. I just installed cheap Chinese LEDs and don't like the square look. I need old school KC round 7" lights! They are such a theft magnet though....

The more I look at your pic, it appears the fender is textured under the peeling coating. Mine was smooth and sanded well....If I were doing yours, I would remove them and sand blast (SB) them to clean/etch the surface. I can turn down the SB's pressure and add distance for a good stripping.
