JKR advice wanted

Soooooo, you went to the WranglerTJ forum for advice on building a JK.....

Makes sense to me... :)
I don't need advice on light bars and angry eyes. I need a sanity check and advice from people I know and trust to make a JKR work in some rather demanding terrain. There's a few knowledgeable JK Jeeple here. They're in the closet, but they're here. @Chris isn't starting a JK forum, sooo...

I hear ya' on that. I'll check them out.

Oh, am I going to hate myself if I get the manual? I suspect so...
I love the fact that my TJ is a stick, so much fun to drive, my cruise control works and I use it all the time on the interstate, so I can relax when cruising. (stick means 5 speed manual for any millennials here:) )

Step one. Buy JKR
Step two. Light JKR on fire
Step three. Use insurance money to buy LJR.

In all honesty the JK has been proven time and time again to be a great jeep. Its the owners i don't like :)

The one I'm currently looking at is a white, stock JKR with a soft top and full doors. Found a set of factory half doors and soft uppers for not a ton of money, just need the surrounds to go with them.
White is a nice color. Bright white as opposed to the tj stone white...yes it looks different ;)

JKUR owner here. I would go this route:
https://www.xf_vendor_spam_management/Teraflex-1351002-RS9000XL-Caster-Correction-KJ-Combo

I personally think the new Falcon 3.3 adjustable shocks would be awesome with that lift.

It’s the most recommended lift kit on wrangler forum for JK’s. Plus Allen is a great guy.

Unless you want something better, then I’d go Savvy or Metalcloak.

FYI, with 4.5” BS, you can fit 285/70/17 on a stock JK. If you go off road, it will rub in the back.

No help but, I say do it! Honestly, the bigger the kids get, the smaller the TJ becomes. Taking a day to go wheelin with the fam is becoming less fun and more work with the tiny TJ. Don't get me wrong, it works bitchin on trails and hunting trips. But doing a day trip, less so. And over night or a weekend is a no go.

Where did we get with this white JKR?
Still contemplating some JK related issues with potentially weak front C's and abusive terrain.

Luckily, all my kids have their own 4x's now. That and the wife's JKU set us up pretty well for the grandkids.

This would be specifically for driving from here to, say Moab / the Rubicon and wheeling the snot out of.

You must be thinking 4 door, cause a JKR will have minimal room gains over a TJ.
