NFL officiating screwed Brees good

What i find funny is they want to change the overtime rules yet again because someone lost.......

remember when the first score ended the game.....

Between all the commercials, bad refs, player protests, crying about more money, and total lack honesty. I just can't get excited about football.

The commercials is what does it for me. I've grown to hardly be able to stand television commercials in even minimum doses, but an entire third of football games is just commercials.

And I've always been more of a hockey guy anyway.

There are two three teams in the NFL that I cannot stand. New England (hate Bilicheck), New Orleans (hate coach Sean Payton - used to pay bonuses to defensive players to injure opponent players). And Cowboys - hate Jerry Jones.

It is a terrible thing that idiot ref calls end up pretty much ending a season for a team. But for me personally, the worst ever scenario is a New Orleans and New England super bowl.

Regardless, I’m sure New England will win it again. I wish Brady would retire already. Bilicheck would probably retire too.

Stopped watching the NFL years ago and don’t miss it. I now actually have a free day on the weekend during football season. I have always preferred College ball, to me it’s just more exciting. I’m a Buckeye fan and don’t see the Tide or Tigers going anywhere anytime soon. I do think someone else will win the NC in the next couple of years. But the top 5-8 programs will continue to rule in the upcoming years.

Heard about that bad call, I was rooting for the saints. One of my class mates, Griffith, plays for the Saints (he actually caught a touchdown ball in that game), and we’re from a small town so lots of support from home.
I’m still reeling from my Chiefs’ loss. So sad .

Funny how many people say that. But yet they're the loudest voice in the forums, FB groups, etc.

Except for those bad calls, both games were pretty incredible. I'm certainly no Patriots fan, but realize that I'm witnessing history here, good or bad.

The worst part is the Chiefs had the lead, the ball after the interception, and most likely the win as the 4th quarter was winding down, but the interception was lost because of the Chiefs defender lining up offside. How can you be paid a bazillion dollars to play a game, and here in the biggest game of the year you don't know how to line up onside??

worst call ever, I'd be livid if I was a Saints fan, with good reason
If you've noticed, the trend with defensive backs more and more is to see how much they can hold and interfere with receivers, and try not to get caught, instead of playing the ball. If Robey-Coleman had turned around, he had an interception staring him in the face. The ball was thrown more to him than the receiver. But again, he was intent on taking him out instead of playing the ball. I'm no Saints fan, but it sucks to see any team lose a game of that magnitude on an obviously blown call.

I see it both ways. But you have to ask yourself one question...:where the hell was big game mahomes and the high flying KC offense at in the first half? They didn’t show up. Brady deserves that win. Back to back 3rd and 10s to get them back in the game. I’m sorry but TB12 is the Goat haha. I’m a skins fan through and through and I admire the shit outta that guy. Hate him all you want but 41 and still slinging it is pretty damn admirable.

I can think of only one worse SB scenario - Patriots vs. Cowboys. I'd watch Netflix.

This was Mahomes’ rookie year. Who as a QB has had a better 1st year than Mahomes. Super Bowl pressure is no joke and I’m sure he was feeling it. Brady is experienced in that situation, I’m not surprised Patriots won. Fact is, he did show up the 2nd half and nearly took Brady down. It was our defense not lining up properly cost us dearly (and also the half time coin toss, cost us too).

Seniority usually wins in high stakes competition. I love mahomes. I love Damian Williams even more. He is one hell of a RB. Since he took over mahomes stat line became more human. Williams will be a beast next year.
