2016 Ford Fiesta st. Can drive it like a complete ass hat and still get 28mpg combined. Solves my turbo needs, as well as being a absolute weapon at Autocross. This car with a set of Bridgestone re-71r tires on it is a complete monster destroying lap times of cars that are twice the price. Also it’s the cheapest car that you can get reccaro seats from factory. All and all it’s a fun daiydricer that can be had for cheap on the used market.

That's 49 merc is nice, like the custom headlights too... are you chopping the roof and making it a lead sled ?
when I was about 14 I saw one of those and instantly fell in love, I had a few posters on my wall of them and 56 F100's lol

Thanks.
I will be chopping it but not for a while. Always loved old cars because my dad had a bunch as I was growing up. When I watched Rebel Without A Cause and saw the 49 Merc James Dean drove is when I fell in love and always wanted one after that.

Thanks.

My ‘11 GMC Sierra was my off work/ weekend driver until the Jeep came along. Now this poor thing barely gets driven. I’ve recently decided to sale the GMC. My wife drives an ‘11 Buick Enclave that we plan to trade in when the time is right on a JLU or a 4RUNNER once the Sierra is sold.

But I love getting behind the wheel of our ‘03 TJR.

1998 Honda Passport aka Isuzu Rodeo. Equipt with 3.2l V6, GM 4l30E trans and Dana 44 rear end. Stout built vehicle killed off by bad consumer reports, Chitty business managements(*cough* GM), and uncompetitive market pricing.

My wife wanted a new car her old car’d long lost the new car smell and acquired that sour my air conditioner aint quite right thing so I took the opportunity to kill two birds with one stone and traded in her old car for a shiny red one for Valentine’s Day, now the Jeep has a new cell mate. just a base model Macan with the 4 cylinder turbo and sport package but it drives great and is surprisingly quick and feels equal to the 35i in the BMW for acceleration.

I miss the days when BMWs were truly driver's cars. You are right, that era was sure a great one. You have my second favorite car on this thread, but it isn't really fair since there is a 930 turbo in the mix.
Yea, not exactly comparing apples to apples I had A little 1980 911SC years ago and can only imagine what a thrill driving a 930 turbo would beo_O;):).

I couldn't find the 930 on this thread, so I searched it and found it on another thread just like this one. lol I don't think I would really want a 930 since it is so expensive and so rare. I would just rather have a '87-'89 911 and would love it to be a Targa. Just saw one the other day and am still shocked at how tiny they are compared to the huge cars of today. New 911's are huge. I am sure that 911SC would have been a blast to drive! I hope to have one someday, but who knows I guess.

Tough not to concede to the 930.

I also think the days of BMW being a driver's car are gone as well. I got to spend some time in my pal's new M2 not too long ago, they just don't do it for me anymore. It was fun, just didn't do it like the older gens.
