Could this possibly be a bad clock spring?

Wondering if anyone else has run into this. Today the airbag light came on. I shut off the Jeep and restarted it. Airbag light came back on, but after I turn the wheel some and hold it there, the light will go off. If I turn the wheel back to center, the light comes back on. I haven't scanned for codes yet, as my scantool is at work. But, I'm leaning towards the clockspring is going bad. What re your thoughts??? Thanks!

Ugh.. I m fighting this right now..

But codes p0121 and p0123 say TPS.. but the store brand new one didn't fix it.. started looking at the clock spring.

Easy to remove.. sounds like your clockspring, wish mine was that easy to point to.

I took mine out and tested for continuity on all wires, tested good.. but that's not moving it back and forth like when driving.

I hear ya. No check engine light on mine, just the airbag light is on.

That's the part number for the one without cruise control.
Here is the one with cruise... 2001 TJ
