Just kidding, I live in a place where I get around with my own cars and trucks. If I ever have to rely on public transportation it will be a personal failure for me. But if it comes to it it's a guarantee I'll be so, so spread!

I think social media just allows people to be with like minds, BUT the problem with it is that you can now bury yourself in a bunch of like minds and not deal with those not in your safe space. The Internet has changed quite a bit since the beginning. Now it is more agenda based. Everyone out there pushing some damn agenda and complaining about everything. I guess it is the normal progression since the old saying, "one bad apple spoils the barrel". One the Internet it is a lot of bad apples.
Now about the snowflakes. I think it is a combination of parents that wanted to be more friends than parents and lack of discipline. Parents being children and not embracing losing in sports and giving out the damn participation trophies and acting as though coming in last is about the same. It isn't. You need hard defeats to learn what real life is like because you are going to get your butt handed to you now and again. My generation didn't do a good job parenting as a whole. Some of course did a great job, but on average I am talking about. We raised spoiled brats.

Here in Portland, Oregon I'm surrounded by some of the most special snowflakes in the world.
I say, the snowflake hipsters in a couple Chicago neighborhoods are more snowflakier than your snowflakes, good sir!

One year they tried no score soccer here for the kids. Seems that having no skill resulted in kids feeling bad. I asked my son about it afterwards. He was six. He said, dad we kept score anyways." A proud parenting moment.
He later asked me as he was older how long it would take to get good at piano. I said i think about 10000 hours. He said" i better get started." Bought him a stage piano last year . So my kids spent a lot of time in the bush. They know if the fire is going all is well. If not dinner is not cooked and we all get cold. Not much room to examine " your personal truth" in that exercise. At eight i gave him a firesteel showed him how to use it and asked him" when is dinner?"

I was talking to guy that was a counselor at a local college. He said they had to put nets under all the higher windows because kids were jumping out. About 5 or 6 a year killed them selfs and it is a widespread problem. He said and I quote imagine being told you special and a winner and never hearing the word NO in your whole life. When they get somewhere that they’re parents can’t shelter them from everything they can’t handle it and go crazy.
Same with a lot of the school shootings. Its almost always in a snowflake dense areas.

We in the north know that no two snowflakes are identical. But they are all special. They usually end up all of the lawn until the heat is turned up then they melt away fast and flow away in the sewers. Now glad i'm not special when i think about it.
Westworld is an awesome show and very popular.
She was raped, so she points out traits/actions which I guess are common red flags in abusers displayed by the character in a couple episodes. Even though the show can write his fictional character to turn out to be a good dude by the end, real abusers tend not to change that much. I would not call expressing her perspective about that being a "snowflake".
