I was trying to purchase the 1.25" Savvy body lift because of its aluminum construction and the negative things I've been hearing about the JKS BL. I visit the Savvy website and their price of $134.95 seems very fair. However when I type in my shipping info the shipping quote is $23 (ground). That is ridiculous for something so small and light but I got over it. I decided to contact them regarding the 8% discount I read other site members have received on their recent orders. Well....Savvy informs me that they no longer give a discount to our Jeep site members but I'm in luck they have a 5% discount code I can use. WHOOPIEEEE what a bargain!! This also was a bit frustrating but I got over it. LOL

I decide to pull the trigger and purchase the BL (even though I'm not happy with the shipping cost). This is the point that I get pissed off! When I go to check out the total includes shipping at $23. When I go to final payment magically the shipping jumps to $30??? I try this multiple times on different computers and the same thing! Mind you that I have already input my shipping info and received a quote for $23!

I decide to contact Savvy directly by phone and ask what was going on. They had no explanation but didn't offer to rectify the problem! Basically they said take it or leave it! They said if there is a discrepancy in the shipping they would "probably" refund the difference. LOL

Honestly the difference of $7 is not that big of a deal but it's concerning and their indifference about it really pissed me off. I wonder how many people don't even realize the shipping price is changing at checkout???

I don't trust a company that operates this way so I don't care how good their product is...I'll take my business elsewhere.

Dang Bro! Are we related?

Their new website is worse than the old one... you're lucky you were able to place the order.

Regarding shipping, I've actually been refunded several times by Savvy without even asking.

Regardless, their products are top notch.

I DID NOT PLACE THE ORDER! LOL
I will not have Savvy parts on my Rubicon! I don't care if their shit is gold plated! LOL
I will not deal with a company that operates in this way. Period.

Pick your poison. Its a shame they can't be better on the sales side. But I tend to not care anymore once the product arrives. Customer service doesn't matter much when it isn't needed.

I’ve not had great experience ordering from them, however there aren’t many substitutes that are up to the same product standards. Any time I’ve had an issue though - they are pretty responsive.

It is a shame, but there’s a cost to buying from a smaller organization that’s highly specialized.

Fortunately you have alternatives for a BL

Tell me about it.....I ordered the body lift about 2 months ago and I’m in CALI about an hour away from their shop. I think I paid maybe $50+ for shipping of their transfer case cable and their BL
And their BL was back ordered a month

Customer services has always been their weakness. Shipping costs, back orders, unanswered phone calls, etc..But on the engineering side of things they sure do know what they are doing. I ordered my UAS from them back in 2016. Placed my order in early February, had a tracking number by wednesday, recieved a call on a thursday saying the cross member would ship the following week, and by early next week I received another tracking number. By mid-Feb I had everything I needed. They are top notch items, and I would throw it out there that the wait time and/or cost is definitely worth it.

What is your bad experience with them???

Sorry. 4lowparts is great. Ive never had an issue there.

4wp on the other hand, around here, has a horrible reputation. Their showroom floor is covered in smittybilt products and I know two individuals whose gear sets were installed incorrectly.
