I thought those Body Armor step/sliders had an option for a body lift when purchased so there wasn't as big of a gap?
If not, someone should make one for the aesthetically inclined crowd. Body lifts with those sliders look stupid.I thought those Body Armor step/sliders had an option for a body lift when purchased so there wasn't as big of a gap?

Everyone is aware of the GR raised body might mounts, right?
I hadn't known about them till I saw them earlier in your build thread. Are you going to completely hide the body lift with those addition to the frame mods?
Sleeper, indeed
Mostly. Not sure about the front yet.
Here, I enjoy their unintended solution of reducing the gap between the frame step and the raised body.
How will those mounts work on a vehicle with stock body mounts, I wonder.
UCF makes sliders that use the factory Rubicon mounting points. It's not much less than $400. There are also a few companies that make lightweight steel sliders that use those mount points flat and diamond plate but I don't remember who. Maybe extreme terrain sells them?Do any of the manufactures make a rock slider that installs using the existing mounting points found on the Rubicon. I have no interest in drilling new holes in the body. Because I'm installing a 1.25" body lift many options will not work (leaves an ugly gap). Please keep in mind I do not want to spend $400 on this. I don't want to get into some deep conversation about expensive body armor and it's "value" because I do not buy into that.
I also forgot to mention an integral step/bar is necessary. I actually like the existing Rubicon sliders but I'm lifting my Jeep and my wife is short LOL.
Thanks for your input!
