Hi everyone, just bought a 2003 TJ. I recently had a 93 YJ many years ago and I’m happy to be back in the family again!

I purchased the TJ for a great deal in my mind, it’s got the 4.0, 5 speed, on a 2” lift with new 32” tires with 140k miles for $6,000. It has a few quirks I’m hoping to resolve with the help of this forum but my boys (ages 2 and 3) love riding in it!! Nice to meet everyone!!

Welcome! Sounds like you really got a hell of a deal on that Jeep, it looks great! Your factory service manual is here to download in the Resources forum, and there are all kinds of braniacs around to help you work out the kinks.

Welcome! Nice looking TJ! And a better price!

Great looking TJ! Any big plans for it?

Oh, and welcome to the forum!

New here and to Jeeps, but had my boys on motorcycles early. Great to see you rackin' up the good Dad points.

Congrats on a good lookin' Jeep.

Hey thanks for the warm welcome! I have a list of maintenance things to do and of course upgrades as well. I took it to a Jeep mechanic in Fort Lauderdale (where i purchased it) and in the near future things i must fix includes the clock spring (setting off airbag light), the turn signal switch (fog light symbol is on constantly on dash), the sensor on the brake sending unit is shot causing the brake light to be on constantly on the dash, and the driver seat wont recline. Besides all that it runs awesome and drives straight.
