Any recommendations for longer front brake lines?

I put on YJ lines. Raybestos BH38861 and BH38862. Mine came with new copper washers.

While not necessary, my JKS 22" braided stainless lines did not break when I lost a wheel due to a bearing failure.

Didn't say it did, but I don't think a stock line would have survived the same abuse.
They are also multi-layer and Kevlar reinforced.
The steel braid has nothing to do with any of that. All stock brake lines are reinforced multi-layer and some are kevlar reinforced too.

You can see in the picture where the outer coating was stripped off, which would have most likely cut through a normal rubber line. Not sure why you're arguing against these. Increased protection from rocks and branches, firmer pedal feel, and looks really cool. What's not to like?

Try cutting an OEM spec brake line and let us know how it stacks up to the outer coating on your stainless steel line.

What's not to like?

Cost and availability.

No there is NOT a firmer pedal feel with brake lines with an outer layer of stainless steel braid, that's just bullshit hype they claim to get people to buy them. OEM brake lines are reinforced multiple layer lines and they do NOT expand under brake line pressure even if you used superhuman strength to stomp on the brake pedal. They're not windshield washer hoses.

Its the Teflon core that prevents expansion. Are you implying that rubber can do the same thing.

You need to understand that brake line hoses are not simple rubber hoses, they are complex multi-layer reinforced hoses that have to meet a very tough DOT specification as below...

A hydraulic brake hose assembly, after immersion in water for 70 hours (S6.5), shall withstand water pressure of 4,000 psi for 2 minutes, and then shall not rupture at less than 5,000 psi (S6.2) . It also has to be able to support a weight of 370 lbs.

Brake systems typically generate no more than 2,000 psi of brake line pressure even with a hard panic stop.

As shown below you can see the multiple layers including criss-crossed woven reinforcement layers inside a standard OEM brake line.

Can you show me your source/proof for this statement. Just trying to learn and be more informed on the subject. Everything I've seen disagrees with you.

Firmer brake feel comes form flushing the old fluid while you replaced the brake lines. NOT form the brake lines.
A fluid flush would have restored that firm feel by itself.
